Cattle Products : Lane Drafts
- Breckon Lane Drafting (Manual or Pneumatic)
The Breckon Lane Draft was developed due to the necessity of drafting large amounts of cattle in a short period of time. This style of drafting is no new concept as it has been used in the Sheep Industry for many years and there are other versions on the market.
Our team at Breckon Cattle Equipment have spent a lot of time and effort in developing our draft. The following features influenced our design:
- We looked at the angles the cattle have to turn when being drafted
- The length from the Baulk gate to the Drafting Gate
- Sheeted the lane and gates to give tunnel vision
- When drafting, 28” width is constantly kept in all areas
- Heavy duty hinges and greased ball joints
- Portable or permanent fixtures
- Manual or air operated
- Breckon Pneumatic Drafting Systems
These units can be set up as a stand alone version for Lane Drafting, or to be worked from the front of your crush, drafting of weight and operated from your crush.
- Drafting system is adaptable to Auto Drafting
- All draft gates open and shut onto rubber stoppers
- Lane is fully sheeted to give tunnel vision
- Air rams are up out of the way
- Gates come across in front of the animal
